The world of AC Origins and Odyssey has grown significantly in comparison to the previous installments. The Nile delta and the Aegean Sea, with its many islands and landmasses, easily overshadowed the largest Assassin’s Creed map to date – the West Indies. Both Origins and Odyssey improved upon the movement mechanics allowing the Both Odyssey and Valhalla allow you to dodge pretty much whenever and escape those combos. Maybe for whatever reason I'm just bad at AC: O but it has just really thrown me off how much different it feels from the other two. I had absolutely zero issues going from Valhalla backwards to Odyssey. Odyssey to Origins feels crazy different to me.
BTW,Having the bows separate in Odyssey was a better call as well imo. Combat flowed a lot better, and the parry in Odyssey was miles better than that terrible one in Origins.Also you have ship battles, mercenary's coming after you, and a huge massive world with tons of side quests, a crew of shipmates.
Dont bother using parry on normal guys.use it on big guys with shield and other elites. But not too big, because those guys are basically unblockable and their strikes just blast through your defenses. Master the Dodge. Be one with the Dodge. Sleep with it, eat with it, take a shower with it. But USE it. the world feels more alive. Big part of Origins were just empty deserts. Full gear system not just for weapons, side quest are better imo. Skill tree is also much better in odyssey, story is better and it has more content. The total amount of Skills is 60. Players can access the Skill Tree by going into the menu and pressing R1/RB or L1/LB on the "Abilities" tab. Each time Bayek gains a level, he earns an Ability
