Almost no one had vertical higher. However, with the new sens, vertical sens was reduced across the board so if you played the same x and y in legacy, to get the equivalent sens you need to set vert sens higher (that's what wavyjacob does). Many top players play equal x and y. Some, like Unknown, still have x higher.

Controller Deadzone. Go into creative or battle lab, set your Left/Right Stick deadzone to 5%, when your camera starts drifting, increase Left and Right Deadzone by 1 percent, repeat until drifting stops. Once the camera stops drifting, leave it at that percentage, the lower that number, the better.
